FAQs

What is TestNav used for in the ACT online practice tests?

TestNav is the secure web application used to deliver the ACT taken online. Using it during practice helps students get familiar with the same navigation and testing environment used on test day.

How do timed and untimed ACT practice tests differ?

Timed practice gives pacing practice with the on-screen countdown, including a five-minute warning and messages when time expires, and you cannot go back after submitting. Untimed practice lets you track your own time and then return to compare answers with the answer key.

What happens after submitting an ACT multiple-choice practice test?

After submitting a multiple-choice practice test, you receive a Summary Report showing the raw score. The guide then points students to scoring information to support review of practice results.
