Readers Ages 0-12 Welcome to the Plant A Seed, Read 2026 Summer Reading Challenge! The Summer Reading Challenge begins on May 22nd and continues through July 31st. The Challenge is to record the days on which you read. You can set your own reading goal for the summer: 10 minutes per day, 100 pages per week, 1 book every two weeks… it’s up to you. We just hope you’ll get a reading streak going all summer long! Simply check off each day you read on the weekly calendar logs. Each day you read equals one ticket for the final prize drawings. Mark a number in front of the final prizes to indicate where your tickets should be entered. Then add your name to the reading log and turn it in at the Library throughout the summer. Reading also earns you prizes from our Book cart of Lil’ Goodies. After your 4th, 12th, 24th, 36th, 48th and 60th days of reading you get to pick one item from the goodies. The details: All logs must be turned before 4pm on July 31st. The Book cart of Lil’ Goodies will be available through August 10th. With 36 days of reading, you become eligible for the final prize drawings. Each reader may only win one final prize.
