Final-exam Date: Wednesday, July 2, 2025. (See Page 3 of this Syllabus for the details. Please don’t schedule any travel on this date.) Lecture delivery method: Face-to-face Instructional Method Classroom Location: Room 107 of the Chemistry Building Credit hours: 4 credit hours Office hours: 3:00pm to 4:00pm, Mon./Tue./Wed./Thu./Fri., except for the exam dates: June 10, June 17, June 24 and July 2. Office hours apart from these time slots can also be scheduled by appointments. The location of the office hours is Room 023 of the Science Building. This course covers the topics of electricity, magnetism, electromagnetic waves and optics. The general goals of this course aim at developing students’ ability of critical thinking and cultivating their skills of problem solving. The ability and skills developed through this course will enhance students’ overall learning ability in many science-related subjects, thereby strengthening their basis for successful pursuits oftheir academic and career destinations.
