Trader Service Sheet 3435/DA14 provides service information for Philips twin-turbo fan heaters HD3231 and HD3232. It compares heat outputs (HD3231: 1kW/2kW; HD3232 adds 3kW via motor-controlled cold-air circulation) and explains the element arrangement and thermal cut-out protection. The sheet includes electrical specifications, recommended fuse guidance, motor ratings, dimensions, and safety notes, plus detailed dismantling steps and a parts list with model-specific switch positions.

◎ IPC Business Press Ltd. TraderSERVICE SHEET These two portable Philips fan heaters are similar in appearance and varyonly in the heat outputs and facilities. The HD3231 has two switched heatsettings-1kW and 2kW,whereas the HD3232 has in addition a 3kW setting, with a separate switch for the motor which allows cold air to be circulated. Hence the D3231 has a two-part element, each part for 1kW,and that forthe HD3232 is a three-part element, totalling 3kW.Both versions incorporatea thermal cut-out,in series with the mains supply, which protects the heateragainst overload if the air flow is accidently restricted or the motor stalled. Both heaters rate as a Class Il non-earthed appliance, but full safety checksshould be carried out following dismantling, repairs or maintenance. | Brief Specification
