Introduction The history of architectural representation illustrates a basic reorganization of the way architects conceptualize, communicate, and create spatial ideas [1] . The practice has been left indelibly imprinted by the tools and procedures of architectural drawing, from the tacit precision of hand drawing to the sensory potential of virtual reality [2, 3] . This essay analyzes the intricate interplay between perception and expression in architectural design and how they are influenced by representational practices [4] . On the foundation of descriptive geometry, architectural drawings operate simultaneously as heuristic devices and communicative media that bridge physical realities and abstract formal concepts [5, 6] .
