FAQs

What safety steps must be taken before setup, transporting, adjusting, or making repairs?

Disconnect the spark plug wire and place it where it cannot come in contact with the plug to prevent accidental starting.

Why is extra caution required when mowing slopes?

Slopes increase the risk of slip-and-fall accidents; all slopes require extra caution, and if you feel uneasy on a slope you should not mow it.

What precautions should be followed when handling gasoline?

Use extreme care because gasoline is extremely flammable and vapors are explosive—extinguish ignition sources, use an approved container, and avoid refueling indoors or near open flame or sparks.
