What safety precautions are required before using the washer?

Read all instructions and avoid washing or drying items contaminated with gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other flammable substances. Follow child-safety precautions and prevent access to moving tub or agitator parts to reduce entanglement risk.

How should the washer be properly installed?

Install and locate the washer according to the Installation Instructions, connect hot and cold hoses to the correct “H” and “C” valves, ensure proper grounding, and level the washer legs for stability. Do not expose the unit to freezing temperatures or weather.

What happens during the washer start-up sequence after the lid is opened and closed?

On start or restart after closing the lid, the washer turns on the cold-water valve for two short periods, then pauses for 10 seconds before continuing. If the lid is opened during the sequence, the washer pauses and requires the Start button to restart the cycle.
