Oro na Sapatos HerStory Foundation Story

Jul 10, 2026

A first-person childhood story about receiving “gold shoes” from Lola through a handwritten message describing their power to guide the wearer and return home safely. The narrator initially dislikes the shoes because they lack color and do not fit like other children’s. While walking home from school, the shoes leave a trail of small “houses” that help show the path, turning the gift into protection and affection.
