The Executive Directors discussed the President’s Memorandum and Recommendation (IDA/R2026-0078, dated April 8, 2026) and approved a grant in the amount of SDR 29.1 million (US$40 million equivalent) to Tonga for the Sustainable Economic Corridors and Urban Resilience Project under the Full Mutual Reliance Framework with the Asian Development Bank and a waiver of the relevant provision of Paragraph 3 of Section III of the Bank Policy “Full Mutual Reliance Framework with the Asian Development Bank” on the terms and conditions set out in the President’s Memorandum.
