FAQs

What fabrics are suitable for this sewing machine and how is fabric thickness defined?

Regular, thick, and thin fabrics are classified by two-layer thickness, with thin defined as <0.35mm and thick as >0.8mm, while regular is between 0.35mm and 0.8mm. Applicable fabric guidance is provided for cotton/linen, silk/wool, polyester, and elastic.

What safety precautions must be followed before operating or adjusting the machine?

Switch off the machine by unplugging the adapter when threading the needle, changing the needle, changing the bottom bobbin, changing parts, cleaning, and after each use. Keep hands away from the needle, handwheel, upper thread tension dial, and pattern selection dial, and never leave the machine unattended around children.

How can I fix common issues like skipping stitches or thread breaking?

For skipping stitches, ensure the needle eye is centered, replace a bent needle, and tighten the presser foot if loose. For thread breaking, replace a bent or improperly seated needle, and adjust thread tension, thread guide, or thread pulling bar by loosening the tension between 3–5.
