INSTITUTO DE CIÊNCIAS BIOMÉDICAS-UNIVERSIDADE DE SÃO PAULO Opening Notice for the Microbiology Knowledge Exam-2nd Semester/2025 The Coordinator of the Coordinating Committee of the Graduate Program in Microbiology (CCPBMM) of the Biomedical Sciences Institute at the University of São Paulo hereby announces that registrations are open for the Microbiology Knowledge Exam related to the Selection Process for admission to the Graduate Program in Microbiology for both Master's and Doctorate degrees. 1. REGISTRATION 1.1 Registrations must be completed between October 27 and October 31, 2025, by submitting the required documents mentioned in section1.2 of this notice. The documentation must be included in the registration form, without fail, by October 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM (Brasília time, Brazil) . 1.2 Interested individuals must compulsorily submit the following documents: 1.2.1 Filled out online registration form, available at the following address: [https://posbmm.icb.usp.br/etapas-do-processo-seletivo/](https://posbmm.icb.usp.br/etapas-do-processo-seletivo/) 1.2.2 The fee in the amount of R$ 75.00 (seventy-five Brazilian reais) must be paid through a bank slip, which will be sent to the candidate via email after registration. Individuals with low income, enrolled in CadÚnico, unemployed, or blood or bone marrow donors may be exempt from paying the selection process registration fee (Laws nº 12. 147/2005 and nº 12.782/07) . Please send the low-income self-declaration form (example at [https://posbmm.icb.usp.br/wp](https://posbmm.icb.usp.br/wp)content/uploads/sites/951/2023/07/AUTODECLARACAO-DE-BAIXA-RENDA.docx), proof of registration in CadÚnico or proof of blood and bone marrow donation. 1.2.3 A clear and simple copy of the following documents: a) General Register (RG) for Brazilian citizens, or National Foreigner Registry (RNE) or National Immigration Registry (RNM), or passport for foreigners (DOCUMENT WITH PHOTO) . b) Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF) (Mandatory and only for Brazilians) . c) DEGREE CERTIFICATE OR COMPLETION STATEMENT AND ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT. EXAM IN MICROBIOLOGY 2.1 The admission selection process for the Microbiology Graduate Program will consist of a Written Exam to be held on 17th November, 2025 (Monday) at 9:00 a.m. (Brasília time, Brazil), lasting for 3 hours. 2.2 The test will be held IN PERSON at the address: Department of Microbiology, Institute of Biomedical Sciences (USP), Av.
