FAQs

What systems are covered by MEP engineering?

MEP engineering covers HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection and life safety systems, integrated across a building.

How does MEP coordination reduce construction issues?

Using BIM tools and clash detection, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are coordinated to prevent interference with each other and the structure.

What role does energy modeling play in MEP engineering?

Energy modeling simulates building energy performance to support code compliance and reveal opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
