A structured set of reflective-essay prompts, open-ended survey questions, and interview guides focused on participants’ experiences learning and teaching mathematics to children. The materials prompt learners to define mathematics, explain their relationship with the subject, identify influences, and articulate beliefs about effective mathematics teaching. Additional prompts ask participants to analyze strengths and weaknesses, evaluate the impact of the CPA method, compare lesson enactment with expectations, and document changes in beliefs over time through end-of-semester reflection activities.
