Nick first broke into comics writing PRAY FOR DEATH for DC Comics' webcomics imprint, Zuda. 18 years later, he has taken the reins and finally put P4D in print. Some of the world's greatest artists have contributed to BROKEN OAR COMICS' legacy. This includes British Fantasy Award winner, Daniele Serra! Dani co-created PRAY FOR DEATH and contributed to MONSTER ELEMENTARY for BROKEN OAR. His art can be seen in an upcoming HELLBOY comic. DC LEAGUE OF SUPERPETS: THE GREAT MXY-UP artist Bobby Timony co-created MISFIT ISLAND and has contributed lots ofart to MONSTER ELEMENTARY. And let's not forget that THE KID AND THE RIPPER sports a stunning painted cover by MARVEL MASTERPIECES artist, David Palumbo! PRAY FOR DEATH Daniele Serra is an Italian illustrator. Three-time winner of the British Fantasy Award as “Best Artist”(2012, 2017 and 2021) and finalist at the World Fantasy Award 2021 and 2023, his work includes covers, internal illustrations and comic adaptations for such highly esteemed authors as Stephen King, Clive Barker, Ramsey Campbell, Joe R. Lansdale and Joyce Carol Oates. As a comic artist he has worked with DC Comics (Pray for Death, by Nicholas Doan),Image Comics (Fade to Black by Jeff Mariotte), BOOM! Studios (Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Bestiary, Vv.Aa.), Titan Comics (Dark Souls, Vv.Aa.), Seraphim INC (Clive Barker’s Hellraiser Anthology Vol. 1-2, Vv.Aa.), SST Publications (I tell you, it’s love, also in Italian for BD Comics under the title Fidati è amore, based on a story by Joe R. Lansdale), Mondadori (Murder Ballads, by Micol Beltramini), Sergio Bonelli Editore (Gentleman’s Hotel based on a story by Joe R. Lansdale) . In 2023 Daniele illustrated the children’s book Labalada de los niños muertos by Efraím Blanco for Fondo de Cultura Económica (Mexico) . Nicholas Doan is the writer/creator of the graphic novel series Monster Elementary and the graphic novel The Kid and The Ripper. He has written three books for Fat Rabbit Farm and won the DC/Zuda Comics contest for the webcomic, Pray for Death with artist Daniele Serra. He Co-Created Misfit Island with Bobby Timony and Sara Silver. His short comic “Lost Boy” appeared in Nobodies, Vol. 2, and he has stories in three anthologies for Wannabe Press.
