Love Holding Love: Mantras Drawn from the Writings of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi is a Franciscan devotional songbook that centers on spirituality rooted in the “heart”—feelings, emotions, and lived experience. The introduction explains how rhythmic, repetitive singing helps readers and musicians pray from the heart, using original-language texts (Latin, Italian, and Umbrian dialect) and selected mantras in English and Spanish. It includes guidance for congregational and personal prayer and notes that CD improvisations are not reproduced in the book.
