LOSING FAITH - How the Grove Survivors Led the Decline of Intel's Corporate Culture

Sep 28, 2026

“Losing Faith” by Bob Coleman and Logan Shrine examines how Andy Grove’s Intel culture and values influenced employee behaviors, then how management actions diverged from the officially published values after Grove’s departure. The analysis connects that cultural mismatch to the weakening of a performance-based culture and to Intel’s broader diversification challenges, including the lack of an integrated execution plan amid large acquisition spending. It also considers investor expectations versus Intel’s disappointing stock performance.
