FAQs

What equipment and cabling are required to connect BACnet MS/TP to the LENNOX CORE LITE Unit Controller?

Use a shielded twisted-pair cable with a minimum 22 AWG. The guide lists example Belden cable types and compatible Lennox cable part numbers for the MS/TP connection.

How do you enable the CORE LITE Unit Controller BACnet interface in the CORE LITE Service App?

Adjust Configuration ID 1 by changing the network interface character to “B” to indicate the separate add-on BACnet MS/TP plug-in module is installed. Then connect to the controller, go to the RTU Menu, select Network Integration, and run the Network Setup Wizard.

What does the BACnet interface communicate with on the BAS side?

The CORE LITE unit BACnet interface is designed to communicate with building automation systems that support the BACnet Application Specific Controller (B-ASC) device profile.
