FAQs

What product identification information needs to be recorded, and why?

Record product identification numbers from generator set nameplates so service parts can be identified later. Also record field-installed kit numbers after installing kits and capture controller and engine identification details for reference.

What prestart steps are required before operating the generator set?

Use the prestart checklist before operation, then follow procedures such as generator set exercising to verify readiness prior to normal use.

How does the manual address emergency stopping and fault shutdown recovery?

It describes emergency stopping and fault shutdowns, and provides controller resetting procedures after a fault shutdown so operation can be safely resumed once conditions are corrected.
