FAQs

What are the key differences between Kenwood Chef models A701 and A701A?

Model A701 uses a spring-loaded beater release ring for inserting and securing the attachment shaft, engaging via a recess and pin. Model A701A uses a planet hub designed for push-in attachment fitting with a drive pin and circlip form of fixing.

What information must be provided when ordering replacement parts?

Provide the model number, serial number, TDA part number, and a clear part description. The manual emphasizes these details are essential for prompt supply.

How does the manual describe the attachment drive and outlet connections?

The machine’s high speed outlet is directly driven from the motor armature shaft, and removing the high speed outlet cover automatically disconnects that drive from the motor to the gear box. Other attachments can be driven via slow speed outlet, high speed outlet, and the juice extractor outlet depending on the model.
