Jesus had been kept up all night, beaten, deserted by His closest friends, nailed to a cross, pierced with a spear so that blood flowed from His body very quickly, He was wound up in linen cloths with seventy-five pounds of spices, and laid in a new tomb with guards keeping watch. Do you think He could have easily gotten up and walked away? Would it have been easy to steal His body? How do you think the disciples, Jesus'mother, and His followers felt that evening and next day?
