FAQs

What does the ISEE measure in an at-home testing format?

The ISEE measures what students know and are able to do, reflecting both academic preparation and learning outside the classroom. Student performance is compared only to students at the same grade level.

What are the key device and internet setup requirements?

The guide specifies device requirements, internet requirements, and the need to download the testing app. It also covers second camera setup and connection steps required for testing.

How do proctor communication and monitoring work during the exam?

Cameras and microphones allow the proctor to monitor the student. The proctor is the only person who can see and hear the student, and communication happens when necessary through typed chat messages in the testing application.

What happens if a prohibited behavior occurs or technical issues arise during testing?

Clear evidence of prohibited behaviors can lead to invalidation of the student’s scores. For technical problems such as frozen screens or loss of internet connection, the guide provides procedures under resolving issues to address those situations.
