FAQs

Where are the engine identification plates mounted on these engines?

Two identical identification plates are supplied. One is mounted on the right side of the cylinder block, and the other is mounted in a suitable location adjacent to the engine.

How many digits are in the engine serial number, and where is it stamped?

The engine serial number is a ten-digit number. The full ten digits appear on the engine identification plate, while only the last eight digits are stamped into the engine block.

What does cylinder numbering mean in relation to the flywheel?

Cylinder numbering follows the convention “A = flywheel,” indicating the reference used for identifying cylinder positions relative to the flywheel.
