Indiglow ™ LED T8 Black Light Universal (15W) # 15W LED T8 Universal 48” Lamps The Ushio 15W Indiglow™ LED T8 Black Light Universal 48”lamps are ballast compatible or direct wire replacements for28W/30W/32W 4-foot T8 fluorescent tubes. A simple lamp changeprovides up to 50%+ energy savings when compared to existingmercury filled fluorescent tubes. Indiglow 405nm LED chips providea safe working environment for entertainment black light venueswhere employees will be standing directly under these lights forextended periods of time. The 405nm chips provide enough glowingpunch to highlight fluorescing paints, makeup, and carpets whileremaining safe outside of the UV zone. In the past, when users wanted an LED replacement for a fluorescentblack light, LED fixtures offered the best solution. However, likefluorescent lamps, LED fixtures degrade in output over time. Whenan LED fixture degrades to the point where the amount of light is nolonger feasible forthe venue, the entire fixture typically needs tobereplaced by a licensed electrician. Ushio’s Indiglow LED T8 tubesremedy this by allowing the user to replace the lamps when theydeem necessary without the associated high electrical labor costs.The flexibility of using replacement LED tubes also allows users tochoose either one, two, three, or four lamp fixtures depending onthe amount of coverage and output needed.
