Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) enroute low and high altitude chart symbols are presented for U.S. and Alaska coverage. The material explains how airport, radio aids to navigation, and airspace information are depicted, including what different colors and shapes indicate for instrument approach availability and runway requirements. It also clarifies symbol conventions for runway surfaces, city-name presentation, and aviation-route elements, supporting consistent interpretation across low and high altitude chart formats.
