General admission requirements for Undergraduate (BA/BSc, OTM and Preparatory) programs for international students at the University of Pécs Are you an international student wondering whether you are eligible to apply for a bachelor’s programme at the University of Pécs? This document lists the most commonly accepted nonHungarian secondary school qualifications that meet the minimum admission requirements. Important notes The University of Pécs’s study programs have a selective admission procedure. This means that meeting the admission requirements does not guarantee a place. • The inclusion of a diploma on this list does not guarantee admission. Grades, subject relevance, and academic performance are also considered. • For applications to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, an apostilled and notarised copy of degree certificates is required for documents issued in the following countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Ghana, and Pakistan. Additional legalisation may also be requested for documents issued in other countries. • If your country is not listed, your diploma may still be accepted if it: • Certifies at least twelve years of education (or eleven in systems where that is the standard), • Grants access to higher education in the issuing country, and • Suggests you are academically prepared for university-level study. Admission decisions are made only after submitting a complete online application. • This list applies to diplomas obtained after at least two years of formal study in the relevant curriculum. Diplomas obtained after one year or through online schools will be reviewed individually, taking your full educational background into account.
