This document is the official Edexcel GCSE English Language (Unit 1: English Today, 5EH01) Controlled Assessment Record Sheet. It provides a structured template for recording candidate details, center information, and task-specific marks for both Reading and Writing components. The form includes sections for tracking the chosen theme, task titles, and individual grid scores, culminating in a total unit mark. It also mandates formal declarations from both the candidate and the teacher, ensuring the work is original and completed under appropriate supervision. This record sheet serves as an essential administrative tool for maintaining academic integrity and assessment standards within the GCSE curriculum. By documenting teacher oversight and candidate compliance, it facilitates the standardisation process for Edexcel moderators and supports professional development training for assessors.
