FAQs

What is the correct use of the walk assist function?

Use walk assist only when wheeling the bike on foot. If the wheels on the e-bike are not in contact with the ground, there is a risk of injury.

How should the motor be used under the legal requirements?

The motor may only assist pedalling, meaning it only “helps” when the rider applies effort to the pedals. Average motor power must not exceed 250 W, and motor output must drop progressively as speed increases, with the motor stopping at approximately 25 km/h.

What should you do if the bike is no longer safe to use?

Stop using it immediately, secure it against unintentional switching on or use, and make it available to the dealer for inspection. If current-carrying components or the battery show visible damage, it is no longer safe to use.
