FAQs

What installation spaces are suitable for the Lennox up-flo G8 series furnaces?

The document states the low height and cabinet design allow installation in recreation or family rooms, basements, utility rooms, or closets, including basement and closet setups with cooling coils.

How do the 'E' models reduce energy and costs?

E models use an automatic electronic pilot ignition system where the pilot flame is on only during the furnace operating cycle, avoiding the need to shut off the pilot during the summer air conditioning season.

What is the purpose of the DURACURVE® heat exchanger in the G8 furnaces?

The DURACURVE® heat exchanger is described as eliminating fatigue failure, ticking, resonance, and cleanability problems through its clam section flue restriction zone formed by two concentric cylinder sections.
