FAQs

What is the intended use of the Front linkage FPS - JD - 3R?

It is intended for mounting small to medium implements such as snow blades and sweepers. The front linkage accommodates these implements on the tractor as specified on the cover sheet.

How must the tractor hydraulic system be set when operating ground-contact implements?

For implements that contact or roll on the ground during operation, the tractor hydraulic system must be switched to the float setting. The manual warns not to charge the front linkage with downward pressure via the hydraulic system.

What are the key personnel requirements before installing or operating the implements?

Only persons 18 years of age or older (or instructed persons) may install, operate, and maintain the implements, and they must have read and understood the operating manual.
