Unreconciled guilt drives a character to hide in a faulty animatronic costume, only to suffer an escalating, brutal death as the ghosts of dead children watch and smile. Thirty years later, the protagonist awakens at Freddy Fazbear’s pizza emporium as the nightguard, confused by injuries, a yellowed, bloodstained suit, and returned memories. The chapter focuses on horror, denial, and awakening inside a decayed, dust-filled location while the character questions whether he is dead or still dreaming.

Tight...very tight..fitting.The ghosts can'tfind me.They are looking and they can't findme! "IfI could take back what I did,I would. If Icould go back in time to stop myself I would! Please don't find me.…please..." "Crap, sleeping on the job!"-I yelled. The firstthing I did was to look at my watch but insteadI saw something unnerving..a grey yellowwrist that was tatty and dirty,as if the colourhad died over time...dried blood was stained allover me...I then looked at my hands, thickmonstrous hands,I moved my fingers,I managed to wiggle them...it then occurred tome that I was wearing the costume I'd snuckinto..the golden rabbit suit, the faulty one.. "Oh no.."I gasped... That pain was coming back to me...the soundof my skull being crushed...it was all to real. Denial hit me next, there was no way this wasreal.I moved my feet...dirty yellow jointscreaked and clanked,it was strangethough...the suit didn't feel heavier than it did when I put it on.As my senses were comingback to me,I took advantage of this and pushed myself up...I wobbled at first, almostfalling on my backside, but soon I got the rightbalance. My joints were stiff, but,to my relief,Iwas able to move.Still,it felt like years since Idid...only a matter of time before I find thattruth out...
