A middle-grade story centered on a disastrous hair day and the social pressure that follows after a mishap at home. Brooke’s extraordinarily long, fairy-tale hair becomes the focus of nightly care, while Suzy Davis’s bossy confidence drives a doll makeover that turns into a real haircut. Confusion, embarrassment, and the question of what Brooke will do in public keep the pace lively and child-friendly, with a clear moral about choices and consequences.
