EPAP Training Requirements outlines how candidates satisfy knowledge-area requirements through completing multiple online course modules or, when available, completing the corresponding vendor certification. Passing a listed vendor certification counts as meeting the requirement if it aligns with the training requirements and no additional training is needed in that area. Candidates may also leverage an active vendor-specified test or prior online training completed earlier (preferably within two years), depending on updates to the EPAP-IM training program. Frequent updates are communicated via the site and questions route to the provided email.

When a vendor certification is listed below, demonstrating that you have passed that vendor certification satisfies that knowledge area’s requirements as long as it is in line with the training requirements and no further training will be required in that area. A candidate who has passed a vendor-specified test that meets our training program and it is active, or who has completed the online training at an earlier date (preferably within the last 2 years), may only have to take all or part of the online courses associated with a knowledge area, and be paid to do so. This is due to updates in the training program from those previously taken by an EPAP-IM. Please check this site for frequent updates. FAQs

How does a candidate satisfy EPAP knowledge area requirements?

A candidate satisfies requirements by completing multiple online course modules for the knowledge area, or by completing a listed vendor certification when available.

Does passing a vendor certification always count toward the requirement?

Yes, passing a vendor certification listed for the area satisfies the knowledge-area requirements as long as it aligns with the training requirements and no further training is required in that area.

Can prior training reduce the number of required courses?

Yes. If a candidate has passed an active vendor-specified test or completed online training earlier (preferably within the last two years), they may need to take all or only part of the online courses for the knowledge area.
