What a series this is. I’ll be completely transparent and say that this was a series formerly published by Sourcebooks Casablanca and it was called the Swords and Scots series. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the good folks at Sourcebooks, but as primarily an Independent author, I was very glad to have the rights returned for the series because that means I get to do what I want with it—including fundamentally changing the books and updating the story a little. So, let’s be clear on what I mean by that—“fundamentally” changing the books. That means parts of it are different or slightly different. Names and locations are different. But the bones of the story are the same. The characters are mostly the same.
