FAQs

How do I purge the steam arm before steaming or frothing milk?

Press the STEAM button and let the steam flow out for a few seconds, then press the button again. Repeat this action 3 or 4 times to purge the steam arm before use.

What is the “perfect dose” and how do I set it?

Coffee filters have a mark inside to identify the level for perfect dose. Start setting the dose from the minimum position to reach the mark inside the filter basket, then use the dial numbers as a reference once you reach that perfect dose.

How should I adjust the grind if the espresso is under-extracted or over-extracted?

If espresso is pouring too fast and under extracted, it needs a finer grind. If pouring too slowly and over extracted, it needs a coarser grind, while ensuring the tamped coffee is at the indicator line for consistent extraction.
