FAQs

What does the manual cover for the Ducati 250–350 cc single overhead camshaft motorcycles?

It covers main specifications, electrical system information, procedures for dismantling and reassembling the motorcycle and engine, overhaul and wear limits, and troubleshooting with causes and repairs.

How is the battery recharge installation with an electronic regulator described?

It uses a flywheel alternator producing single-phase alternating current, rectified and voltage-regulated by an electronic regulator with controlled diodes.

What tests are used to check the regulator’s maximum and minimum output?

For maximum output, the engine is run and vehicle lights switched on to verify regulator-rated charge current and voltage behavior; for minimum output, lights are switched off and voltage should rise to the regulator rating while charge current progressively falls, indicating correct operation.
