GENERAL INFORMATION Thank you for purchasing a DAS Energy product. Our photovoltaic modules are built using our patented innovative technology and top-quality materials. The following guidelines have been provided to avoid mistakes when installing the modules. Only trained specialists should conduct the static calculations, planning and subsequent installation of solar modules, including their permitted substructure. They must be familiar with the applicable laws and ordinances of the respective country and with the special regulations for photovoltaic systems. Exceeding or undercutting of the permissible loads, such as wind and snow loads will render the warranty void. In addition to the following instructions, we recommend to use, follow and respect IEC 62548 (“Photovoltaic arrays – design requirements”) . FAQs

Why must installation follow the provided installation instructions?

Compliance is required for the applicability of DAS Energy’s Limited Warranty. Non-compliance and resulting damage may revoke that warranty.

Who is allowed to perform the static calculations, planning, and installation?

Only trained specialists should perform static calculations, planning, and subsequent installation, including the permitted substructure for solar modules, and they must know relevant laws and regulations for PV systems.

What electrical-safety precautions are emphasized during module installation?

The manual warns that modules can produce nearly full voltage even under poor lighting without being connected, so electrical faults such as short circuits require continuous caution and safety measures.
