FAQs

What does the Undead skill protect creatures from?

Undead ignores conditions Poisoned, Diseased, Wounded, and Stunned, ignores extra damage from poison, ignores Complete Darkness, and ignores offensive Control spell effects.

How does the Fearsome skill work during combat?

A test is required before attacking or before being attacked by a Fearsome creature. Success allows normal action and immunity to Fearsome effects from enemies of that level or lower until combat ends; failure inflicts the condition “Frightened,” and immunity ends under certain size or blunder conditions.

When does Invulnerable prevent damage, and when can it still be bypassed?

Invulnerable prevents effects from attacks and spells made with the specified triggering source except on a critical hit; magic weapons also require a critical hit. Trap or automatic-hit damage treats 6s as critical hits, so Invulnerability won’t prevent damage in those cases.
