Conditional Status is a probationary recognition for new student organizations granted by a majority vote of the SGA Student Organizations Committee (SOC) after initial steps are met. The organization must maintain Conditional Status for 9 weeks, using the period to recruit members, develop goals, and build a sustainability plan. During this time, the group gains access to key resources but is barred from OrgSync, official club listings, university email, funding, and certain events.
