FAQs

When you play an Attack card, what determines how much damage the target takes?

The target loses one hit point for each symbol shown on the Attack card, unless that player has a Defense card in play.

What happens when a Defense card takes damage that exceeds its symbols?

Each point of damage is marked on symbols; when no symbols are left the Defense card is destroyed and any extra damage passes through to other Defense cards, and then to the player once the last Defense card is gone.

How do Zone of Influence rules limit targeting in a five- or six-player game?

With regular cards, a player can only target the player to their left or right, and Mighty Powers cannot target outside those limits even if they reference a symbol.

What does a Vengeful Ghost do after a player is knocked out?

A Vengeful Ghost no longer draws or plays cards and cannot win; on its turn it selects one of the players still in the game, ignoring Zone of Influence, and cannot deal lethal damage.
