Jɔbi wə bɔ nì tsə buku i di biə bɔ nì tsəki, mi wi gukuni dzaka a bɔ gɔmkpɔ wibɔ . Naʼ gɔm ŋ'wi kpɔ . When they reached the end of their journey, the driver asked them to pay their fares. Cow paid her fare. Biə gɔm ŋ'wi kpɔ, wi du tsə kɔm wi nì kaŋaki kə ŋkwuni. Dog paid a bit extra, because he did not have the correct money. Jɔbi wə mi wi gukuni nì nəŋki i nya ŋkwuni wi Biə, Bii kwa ŋgɛiŋ maka wigɔm ̊əŋ ̊dɔkɔ, kɔm wi nì kaŋaki kə kpɔ . The driver was about to give Dog his change when Goat ran away without paying anything. Mi wi gukuni wiwɔ bɔkɔsi tɔh ka nyə maka wi nya ŋkwuni wi Biə yiwɔ . The driver was very annoyed. He drove away without giving Dog his change. Akɔ gia yə yi fə, na i dzə buku bidaiŋ, Biə si yɔkɔ i tsani cheŋ i yɛiŋ mi wi gukuni wə wi kaŋaki ŋkwuni wi. That is why, even today, Dog runs towards a car to peep inside and ̊nd the driver who owes him his change.
