FAQs

How does the document use AP exam scores to determine credit hours and course equivalents?

For each subject, it lists AP score options and the resulting number of credit hours, then specifies the corresponding William Carey University course(s) or elective credit.

Are AP courses accepted the same way across all departments, according to the table?

No. The table includes notes such as “AP not accepted” for certain departments (e.g., Art and Physics contexts), while other entries provide direct lecture or placement equivalents.

What information is included for science and language subjects?

Science entries often specify whether a course is lecture-only or includes lab, and language entries map scores to specific language course numbers or general foreign language elective credit.
