AP Exam Registration Total Registration, LLC (TR) has been simplifying the AP* Exam Registration for schools since 2007. TR will build a customized, website that allows students to register themselves online for their AP Exams. When a student submits their registration, it is immediately recorded and accessible to schools at the click of a button. Student Registration Site The heart of our registration service is the custom-configured student registration site. TR will customize your registration site to complement your school’s existing website’s style. You will then configure your service and will have complete control over: • Registration Begin and End Dates • Exam Cost – How Fees are Calculated • Questions Students are Asked (Required/Optional) • Late Fee Amounts and Dates • Exams available to students on the Registration Site • All Text/Directions on the Registration Site and Confirmation Pages • Free/Reduced Lunch Student Exam Fee Management Each school is assigned a unique URL to give to their students. Immediately upon submission, all of the registration information is recorded in the database, completely removing the need for data entry that most schools currently have. Since this information is recorded directly by the student/parent, they are held accountable for the accuracy, removing“human error” that can occur when schools hand-enter data. TR offers two options to assist schools in collecting/receipting/refunding exam fees: • Schools may elect to have TR sell the exams, completely removing all payments from the school. Families will either pay TR online with a debit/credit card or mail a check, cashier’s check or money order.(Approximately 80% of current client schools choose this option because of the convenience, time savings and parental preference for credit card payment at time of registration) • Schools can collect all the payments at school – students print a confirmation page to accompany their payment to school.
