FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ACTOR MATT BOMER NARRATES A NEW AUDIOBOOK EDITION OF HANYAYANAGIHARA’SA LITTLE LIFE NEW YORK, NY (January 14, 2025)– Ten years after Hanya Yanagihara’s bestselling novel made its debut, actor Matt Bomer (Fellow Travelers, Maestro, Magic Mike) voices a new audiobook edition of A Little Life (Random House Audio, on sale February 4, 2025). Bomer performs Yanagihara’s brilliant story of friendship and love in the twenty-first century with masterful skill and nuance. “It's a dream to have Matt Bomer – an actor of great generosity, beauty, and depth – as the new voice of theA Little Life audiobook,” Yanagihara says.“New listeners will get to experience the book as I'd always hoped; repeat ones will, I think, find new dimensions thanks to Matt's subtlety and skill.” A Little Life, published to great fanfare in 2015, has not only been a longtime bestseller, but was also a finalist for both the National Book Award and the Booker Prize. The book follows four college classmates as they move to New York in search of fame and fortune. While their relationships, which are tinged by addiction, success, and pride, deepen over the decades, the men are held together by their devotion to the brilliant, enigmatic Jude, a man scarred by an unspeakable childhood trauma. Yanagihara’s stunning novel is about the families we are born into, and those that we make for ourselves. Infamously profoundly moving, the book has also been adapted for the stage and become a social media sensation, particularly on TikTok, where it’s inspired legions of tear-filled reader videos. Matt Bomer is a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Television Award-winning actor with two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.“I was truly, deeply moved to be asked to read Hanya’s brilliant, heartbreaking, and timeless novel,” Bomer commented to Vulture.“It’s a book that I’ve been fascinated with since I first heard about it, and having the opportunity to bring these characters to life was both a profound responsibility for meand a chance to fall in love with her work all over again. It’s a piece that, for me at least, changed me as a person after I read it-and what more can we ask for in art?” In time for the novel’s tenth anniversary in March 2025, Bomer’s heart-rending narration in this new audiobook edition of A Little Life offers long time readers and new listeners alike a fresh and poignant listening experience of Yanagihara’s timeless modern classic. \#\#\# A LITTLE LIFE By Hanya Yanagihara, read by Matt Bomer Random House Audio | Audio Download ISBN: 9780593910672 BOT | Library Audio Download ISBN: 9780593910689 On sale February 4, 2025 To request an audiobook review copy please contact: Katie Punia, [kpunia@penguinrandomhouse.com](kpunia@penguinrandomhouse.com) Kayla Kohlmeister, [kkohlmeister@penguinrandomhouse.com](kkohlmeister@penguinrandomhouse.com) Hanya Yanagihara lives in New York City.
