A WORLD AFTER... - SUPER-PLAGUE - Part 1 - Emerging Super-Plague: Day 1-10

Oct 13, 2026

Raintree’s “A world after...” presents a narrative-driven outbreak scenario centered on a “super-plague” that begins with a remote Vietnam village and spreads before symptoms can be properly recognized. The text follows early escalation: a dying child, rumors amplified through social networking and local news, villagers avoiding one another, and delayed medical response as patients are sent to hospital too late. It explains how initial signs—fever, sneezing, coughing, headaches, vomiting, and exhaustion—mask a new disease, making detection difficult.
