If contamination is present, first clean the surface to be coated with MG Chemicals 824 Isopropyl alcohol. Attention! Do not use on thin plastics or plastics where you want to keep original surface. The product contains a controlled amount of solvents designed to chemically etch plastic surfaces to help adhesion. Storage Store between-10 and 40 °C [14 and 104 °F] in a dry area, away from sunlight. Health and Safe

FAQs

How fast does 4223D conformal coating cure and when is it ready to handle?

It can be handled in as little as 15 minutes and reaches full cure in about 2 hours at 100 °C. Tack-free time is listed as 10–15 minutes, with recoat time of 2–3 minutes.

What protection does 4223D provide for printed circuit boards?
