ICT assisted teaching methods are practiced by all faculty members.Effective useof ICT and E-learning resources are helpful for the students to have in depthknowledge on the subject along with the class room sessions which is not the solitarysource of information or knowledge for them.Students are encouraged to attendNPTEL lecture classes and read scientific publications for advanced topics in thesyllabus.In the advanced topics,students who are identified as advanced learnersare encouraged to register for MOOC courses.The Seminar and Projects provide anopportunity for students to explore latest developments in their discipline.Forseminar presentation students are encouraged to do extensive search on the recenttrends in their area of interest in their own discipline and interdisciplinarydepartments.They are insisted to refer latest research papers in reputed internationaljournals to identify the topic.Each student willmake a presentation using ICT tools.For Projects students are utilizing e-learning resources to identify the area ofproject.The ICT utilization also includes the access of course materials throughremote devices,online digital repositories for lectures,course materials,and digitallibrary,Online academic management systems through icampuz software,makinguse of handheld computers,tablet computers,audio players,projector devicesetc.Digital library with NPTEL Video Lectures and ICT tools allow the students topursue advanced courses to enhance their technical knowledge and skills.Studentsalso prepare for OET,IELTS,competitive exams and placement activities throughthese mode of study.ICT is enhancing learning experiences and facilitating learningwithout time constraints.The learning activity of the student is becoming flexibleand smoother.
