What must candidates and teachers complete on this record form?

Candidates complete the required declarations and identify help/information received. Teachers complete the teacher declaration confirming conditions of the specification, authentication of the candidate’s work, and that AI was not used as the sole or primary means of marking.

How should the form treat the use of AI in producing or marking the work?

The teacher declaration states that artificial intelligence has not been used as the sole or primary means of marking candidates’ work. Any AI use is supplementary and is continually monitored and assessed.

What information is recorded for speaking and writing units?

For speaking and writing, the form records unit numbers, number of items of information, whether opinion is included, time frame selection (past/present/future), level awarded (P, M, D), and marks (max 30).

How are portfolio marks and totals calculated for full course versus short course?

The form instructs recording marks per outcome (L, R, S, W) for the Full Course and appropriate subsets for the Short Course, then totaling marks at the bottom of each column. It also requires calculating portfolio totals: out of 360 for the Full Course and out of 180 for the Short Course.
