Addendum explains how the redesigned New SAT (1600) differs from the pre-March 2016 Old SAT (2400), so identical numeric scores are not strictly comparable. It clarifies that 2016-17 Bulletin SAT references use Old SAT 2400 scores and defines the addendum’s goal: provide comparable score guidance for the New SAT 1600. It also describes concordance resources and specifies that Reading and Writing are merged into Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, using TEST scores for equivalency.

Addendum 2016-17 Bulletin (Old SAT 2400 to New SAT 1600) Because the redesigned (New) SAT 1600 is a different test than the pre-March 2016 (Old 2400) SAT, a numerical score on one test will not be strictly equivalent to the same numerical score on the other. SAT score information in the 2016-17 Bulletin refers to Old SAT 2400 scores. The purpose of this Addendum is to provide comparable scores for the New SAT 1600 test. For more information on how to compare scores and concordance tools and resources, please [visit:](visit: www.collegeboard.org/satconcordance)[ ](visit: www.collegeboard.org/satconcordance)[www.collegeboard.org/satconcordance](visit: www.collegeboard.org/satconcordance). Note: The New SAT 1600 combines Reading and Writing into one Section called Evidence-Based Reading and Writing. Therefore, TEST scores (as opposed to Section scores) will be used for those areas to give the best equivalency as follows: ‐ Old SAT 2400 Critical Reading Section Score 􀃆 New SAT 1600 Reading TEST Score ‐ Old SAT 2400 Writing Section Score 􀃆 New SAT 1600 Writing and Language TEST Score Table of Contents ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE .......................................................................................................................................................................................................... 3 MAJORS ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. 3 ‐ Biomedical Science ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................ 3 ‐ Nursing – Early Admission Track ................................................................................................................................................................................................. 3 COURSES ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ 3 ‐ BIOL 151 General Biology I........................................................................................................................................................................................................... 3 ‐ BIOL 296 Research Methods I ...................................................................................................................................................................................................... 3 ‐ CHEM 101 Introduction to Inorganic Chemistry ....................................................................................................................................................................... 3 ‐ CHEM 104 Introduction to General, Organic and Biochemistry.............................................................................................................................................. 3 ‐ CHEM 151 General Chemistry I.................................................................................................................................................................................................... 3 ‐ CHEM 296 Research Methods I ................................................................................................................................................................................................... 3 ‐ CPTR 226 Computer Science I...................................................................................................................................................................................................... 3 ‐ ECON 235 Principles of Microeconomics ............................
