FAQs

What heater voltage options does the 12BH7-A datasheet specify?

It specifies heater voltages of 12.6 V and 6.3 V (ac or dc), with corresponding heater current values of 0.6 A and 0.3 A.

What are the listed maximum rating values for plate voltage and grid pulse conditions?

The tentative and section data include maximum DC plate voltage values (e.g., 300 max. volts and 450 max. volts depending on section) and peak grid pulse voltages (e.g., 600 max. volts for horizontal deflection oscillator and 400 max. volts for vertical deflection oscillator).

How is the 12BH7-A used in deflection circuits according to the datasheet?

It provides separate rating and design-center guidance for a horizontal deflection oscillator and vertical deflection oscillator/amplifier for operation in a 525-line, 30-frame system, including allowable pulse duration guidance and grid-circuit resistance limits.
