Eligible projects are submitted to the Yuba Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (Yuba IRWMP), then strategized for outside grants when needed. After funding approval, a grant agreement is drafted, execution enables work to proceed, and the organization manages invoicing cadence and quarterly progress reporting. Please refer to the steps below as relevant for each stage of your project. \nStep 1. Familiarize yourself with the Yuba Water Agency’s Community Impact Grant and Loan Program Policy. \nStep 2. If you have a project that is eligible for funding support under our Program Policy the project must be submitted to the Yuba Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (Yuba IRWMP) . Submission to the Yuba IRWMP gets new projects a first review from the IRWM technical team and an analysis for potential external grants that this project may be eligible for (all services that submission to the Yuba IRWM Plan trigger at no cost to project proponents) . \nStep 3. After the project is accepted into the IRWMP and you receive your funding memo, work with your organization and the IRWM team (if needed) to strategize external funding for your project. \nStep 4. If external funding will not cover this project, or there is a cost share requirement, consider applying to the Yuba Water Agency’s Community Impact Grant and Loan Program by filling out the online Application and Project Scope of Work Template. [Note: Applications that are not leveraging external funding can only apply to this program during the Open Grant periods in March and September] \nStep 5. If your project is recommended for funding by the Yuba Water Grants team, you will be invited to a Project Operation and Development (POD) committee meeting for funding consideration. If the POD supports the funding recommendation, it will then be considered by the Yuba Water Board of Directors (BOD) . You will also be invited to attend that meeting in case there are questions or comments Step 6. Upon funding approval by the BOD, the Yuba Water Grants team will create a draft grant agreement with contractual terms and conditions for this funding that will include a project schedule, scope, budget, invoicing requirements and templates and deliverables. If the Yuba Water grant award is associated with an external grant, this step may wait until the external grant application outcome is known (this will vary with grant program and project details) . \nStep 7. After the grant agreement is executed (i.e., signed by Yuba Water and your organizations contract signatory) work can proceed. \nStep 8. Your organization should plan to invoice Yuba Water Accounts Payable no more often than monthly and at least quarterly. Quarterly progress reports are also required via the template provided. You will be given a point of contact at Yuba Water for your project and you will send progress reports to this person and liaise with them as needed for questions or to resolve any issues that may arise. \nStep 9. When your grant funded scope of work is complete, you will send a final invoice and project completion report via the template provided. \nStep 10. You may be invited to present on your project outcomes at a BOD meeting after the final report is received.","cbCaimAINEbWXsA9","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaimAINEbWXsA9","pdf",178567,"English","# Grant and Loan Program Steps\n## Step-by-step process\n## Funding approval and reporting\n## Final closeout and presentations","[{\"question\":\"What must an eligible project be submitted to for initial review?\",\"answer\":\"Eligible projects must be submitted to the Yuba Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (Yuba IRWMP).
